The Sky Guy is the Mascot for the WNBA's Chicago Sky.[1][2]
The Sky Guy made his debut in 2006, billed as a "Ladies Man" wearing a space suit, a helmet, and a big smile.[3] His official origin story includes five older sisters and a jetpack-powered journey around the world in search of the best women's basketball before landing in chicago. [4]
In 2024, there have been rumblings about whether the Sky Guy character remains relevant[5]
